This is the best option for an adjustable mace if you want to use common 2" Olympic weight plates and don't feel like having a bunch of 2.5 and 5lb plates. So whether you train at home or get after it at Anytime Fitness you are good to go. Just toss this 7lb beast into the bag and go. It's been swung with 10's, 25's, 35's, a 45, a Calibrated 25kg powerlifting plate and even a 70lb wagon wheel on one side. It performs extremely well and is definitely not like anything else you will see on the market currently. Handmade in the USA. Usage: The weight sleeve is 9" total including both sides. You can load it unilaterally but you will want the plate side closest to you if you do. You can use any size plates you want even bumper plates so long as your start position is with the weight sleeve pointed at you. This will mean the only clearance you need is 9" which is what a typical 10lb plate diameter is. CAUTION: If you put a 35lb plate on there and the weight sleeves are parallel to your body you WILL hit yourself. End of the weight sleeve needs to point towards you.
